The 1L2 single cylinder engine develops 11 bhp under normal atmospheric temperature and pressure, when running at 1,100RPM and is a time proved unit of the direct injection four stroke vertical type. The ignition of the fuel charge is effected by the temperature of compression and no other means whatsoever. The engine is easily and readily started by hand from cold, without any preliminary heating and the fuel is burned quietly and unusual efficiency.
