Although we specialise in the remanufacture and servicing of marine engines, we regularly provide full workshop overhauls of locomotive engines. Generally, this is the Gardner 8L3 model as fitted to many ex British Rail locomotives and others, but also some smaller engines such as the LW range.
We also regularly visit railway sites around the UK and beyond to service and repair locomotive engines that are still in service or owned and used by private collectors or volunteer societies. We are of course happy to work alongside owners or the teams that look after them to add professional technical knowledge and experience to looking after these wonderful engines and bring them back up to factory standard.
